7. Keyboard Commands¶
During flight, many functions are controlled directly through keyboard
keys (also called hotkeys). These dedicated keys help you manage your
Flight Session. The keymap is illustrated below, in two layouts:
the main keyboard, and the Left Shift layer that holds the
instruments and panels new in SeligSIM 2026.
You do not have to memorize any of it. While flying, the
menu bar at the top of the screen shows the key
beside every item, and / opens the Keyboard Shortcuts window,
built from the sim’s own key bindings every time it opens. Turn on
Screencast Keys ( Left Shift + / ) and every key you press
appears on screen with the action it ran.
7.1. Printable Keymap (pdf and images)¶
Download the color-coded keymap sheets to print, or click on the images below for higher resolution.
The same two sheets are in the Help folder of your SeligSIM installation, as PDF and PNG.

Hold Left Shift and the keyboard becomes this second layout.
Tip
The Num Lock on your numeric keypad should be turned on (the numeral light indicator should be on).
